Vimeo video: Chorthippus albomarginatus friersang

The Lesser Marsh Grasshopper is a medium sized, usually greyish to brownish grasshopper. The female usually has a conspicuous (but not diagnostic) pale stripe along the margin of the forewing. The species mostly inhabits coastal meadows, but may also occur in grassland habitats close to freshwater. It is fairly common in the Østlandet and Sørlandet regions.
