The Common Green Grasshopper is a medium sized grasshopper varying from predominantly brown to predominantly green. The females are usually more pronounced green than the males. The species occurs in various grassland habitats such as moist pastures and grassy woodland glades. It is widely distributed in Southern Norway north to Nord-Trøndelag County.
