Oxydromus vittatus

Oxydromus vittatus (Sars, 1862) is a cryptic species rediscovered by the use of molecular methods. It was thought to be identical with Oxydromus flexuosus (Delle Chiaja, 1825), described from the Mediterranean, because the morphological appearance of the two species are very similar.
